Welcome to my page! My name is Carey and I wanted to share my journey as a BRCA2 positive young woman. I’m a busy mom of three wonderful little ones and spend any free time I have educating and empowering young women about their breast and ovarian cancer health. I dedicate a lot of time to my faith as well as staying fit and strong physically to support the emotional roller coaster ride my genetics have added to my life.
Writing has always been a wonderful outlet for me, so I’m hopeful that having a place to note my emotional and ever changing journey will prove beneficial to others in my same situation. Come, join in on the posts and content on the “BRCA Bloggin‘” menu option, but know that the emotional stakes are high with my true reality laid out front for the world to see, with so many difficult decision yet to be made. Be sure to click “follow” so you get notifications on the most up to date posts.
In the meantime, thanks for following my journey – hoping to find a way to inspire others along the way.
